Humble Yourselves

1 Peter 5:6-7 

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Being humble is very hard at times, but under God's mighty hand we can do it. We are children of the most high and being humble takes practice and it takes God's Spirit.

Now adays we all have high levels of anxiety. We rush around trying to do this and that and we give ourselves no time to study God's word and no time to pray. Being humble takes alot of practice and alot of knowing God and who He is. Who He is in our lives makes life alot easier when we know we have someone to run to no matter what life holds.

I live with alot of pain, phyiscal pain with Fibromyalgia. I'm not saying it's easy on me, but without God is would be so much harder. We cast our anxiety on Him and He leads our ways and guides us the pain of this life doesn't copare to a life with Him in heaven one day. I never figured out why others turn Him away, but sometimes I wonder what they have in this life that is better than God.

When Jesus walked the earth He was so humble even when He was beaten and abused, He prayed alot, praying makes us humble, praying eases our pain of sorrow and darkness. I pray alot, I mean just to keep standing during the day I pray. So when you feel like all has gotten you down, humble yourself and go into your own closet and pray.
