My Profile

 

• I wrote my first poem: When I was in 7th grade and won 2nd place in an Arizona statewide poetry contest...believe it or not...a 2nd grader won first place.
• Place of birth: I was born in Cresent City California in 1961
• School: I was raised in Camp Verde Arizona and Graduated from Camp Verde High School in 1979. I went on to get 2 Associate degrees, a Bachelors degree, and a Masters degree at Northern Arizona University.
• Favorite Music: Although I pretty much like all different kinds of music, classical and country are my 2 favorites.
• Pastimes: I used to be able to say I don't have any spare time, but no days I have nothing but time. I'm pretty much retired. My husband and I own a trucking company and my husband drives over the road and is gone for 6 weeks at a time with 6 days home in between. I'm in the process now of finishing a couple of novels that I started writing. I'm truly hoping to have at least one of them finished by the end of 2009.
