Colin The Mine

Untitled 3

In the early morning silence
I see you with my mind
Memories founded by love
Appearing with the atillness of dawn
Illuminating my soul
Casting out all shadows
Lme the rising sun
Casting out the darkness
I remain silent and still
So you remain with me
Prison is no longer a barrier
Walls, bars, and bricks dissolved
Love binds and finds
I dwell with you in my memories
These moments of happiness
Are also moments of loss
Of what was
Love yearns to be united.
The stirrings of the prison
Breaks the bond
And your presence dissipates
Like the morning mist
Carried away by Autumn’s breeze.
Until tomorrow my love
I will meet you with
The rising sun
